I had so much fun photographing Rachel & Justin's wedding, they are an adorable couple. First of all, I LOVE a bride who builds enough time into her day to allow for great portraits!

A great "getting ready shot" is always one of my favorites. I love Rachel is taking in the moment as her girls buzz around her.

Such beautiful ladies! I loved the colors at this wedding.

We had time to stop at a beach to get some shots, and the sun was giving me some gorgeous backlight.


A beautiful day for sure... here's to many years of happiness!

I have so many gorgeous images from Brooke and James' wedding. First though, we happened to run into AJ Hawk at the reception site... he was very gracious and took a photo with the bride.

We were able to sneak away from the reception for just a bit, to grab this series of shots. Ah, love.

HAPPY SPRING!!

Spring is coming soon, and I'm ready! After a 4 month break, I'm ready to get back in the saddle. My NEW website will be going live within the next few days, and I'm excited to share it with all of you. My plans were to get it up much sooner, but I took a bad tumble several weeks ago and have spent much of my time recovering. All is well now, thankfully.

Weddings are booking fast, and my phone is ringing for new sessions. I look forward to a wonderful year of preserving memories!

Happy New Year! I hope you spent your holidays joyfully and are ready and rested for the new year. I have been busy preparing a new website which will debut by the end of the month and I can't wait to share it with you. I will still maintain my online portfolio which can currently be found at http://www.michellemartinphotography.com/, but I'll soon be transitioning that domain to the new website. Once I do that, you will only be able to access the portfolio at http://www.michellemartinphotography.zenfolio.com/. There will be a link on the new website's splash page.

Tomorrow, I have to turn my computer in for some tweaks and repairs. I will still check my email daily, but won't be around much otherwise for a week or two. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!
